Always connected to health and helping others, Filipa Pinto Cardoso realised early in her career that life was more than the nine-to-five. With a degree in Business Management from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, she worked until 2006 in marketing for major brands such as Castrol, Cofina and Lusomundo, while always seeking new knowledge.
In 2006, after experiencing burnout, she found in biofeedback not only the answer to her own personal needs but also a new career.
Combining two essential strands for a highly curious and rational mind, biofeedback brought together technology and wellbeing in her life. She trained and obtained certification as a Biofeedback Specialist from BANHS.
Just two years after starting her new career, she was invited to begin representing in Portugal the equipment she worked with. Although she left marketing behind, her entrepreneurial spirit stayed with her, leading to the expansion of sales of the same equipment to Brazil, a market she still represents today.
In 2012 she achieved Quantum Master classification and is certified as a Biofeedback Instructor by BANHS – The Board of Advanced Natural Health Sciences. In 2018 she was certified by Mandelay Kft (Hungary), the manufacturer of SCIO and Mandelay Q9 equipment.
She brought the teaching dimension to Portugal and later to Brazil. Her extensive teaching experience led her to become an international speaker, travelling across countries from the USA to Mexico and across Europe, taking part in numerous international conferences. She teaches and mentors thousands of students around the globe.
From 2014 to August 2023 she was part of the official team at Clinica Chegar Novo a Velho. In 2022 she obtained her professional Naturopath registration (C-002804) issued by the Central Health Administration of the Portuguese Ministry of Health.
She trains and supports therapists in Portugal, Brazil and internationally. The platform maintains the scientific evidence base and the directory of certified professionals.
